Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualifications:
- Junior Stenographer (EIC, Water Resources, Bhubaneswar):
- HSC or equivalent qualification along with ITI in Stenography and Basic Computer Skill Certification.
- Junior Stenographer (Advocate General, Odisha, Cuttack):
- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
- Must have a shorthand speed of 80 words per minute in both English and Odia and knowledge of computer applications.
- Junior Stenographer (Directorate of Treasuries and Inspection):
- Passed +2 Arts/Science/Commerce from CHSE Odisha or equivalent.
- Must have a shorthand speed of 80 words per minute in both English and Odia and knowledge of computer applications.
- Junior Grade Typist (Directorate of Prisons and Correctional Services):
- Passed HSC or equivalent with Basic Computer Skill Certification.
- Typist-cum-Scribe Assistant (Law Department, Odisha):
- Passed +2 Examination in any discipline or equivalent.
- Typing skills: 40 words per minute in English and 20 words per minute in Odia.
- Must possess basic computer knowledge.

Selection Process:
The selection process involves the following stages:
- Preliminary Examination: Screening test consisting of one paper for 250 marks.
- Approximately 25 times the number of vacancies will be shortlisted for the next stage based on marks obtained.
- Main Written Examination:
- Includes a language paper for 100 marks.
- Top scorers will be shortlisted for the Computer Skill Test.
- Skill Test (Stage-III):
- Computer Skill Test (50 Marks) for all posts.
- Stenography Test (50 Marks) for Junior Stenographer.
- Typing Test (50 Marks) for Junior Grade Typist & Typist-cum-Scribe Assistant.
