Eligibility Criteria: Check Before You Apply

Ensure you meet all the following criteria to avoid disqualification at a later stage.

1. Educational Qualification (As on 01/01/2026):

  • Must have passed the 10th Standard (SSC/Matriculation) from a recognized board of the concerned State/UT.
  • Crucial Condition: The candidate must be an undergraduate. Graduates or candidates possessing higher qualifications are NOT ELIGIBLE to apply.
  • For Ex-servicemen: Should have passed 10th standard and rendered at least 15 years of defence service, provided they have not graduated outside the Armed Forces.

2. Language Proficiency:
Candidates must be proficient (able to read, write, speak, and understand) in the local language of the State/UT of the office they are applying for.

3. Age Limit and Relaxation (As on 01-01-2026):

  • Minimum Age: 18 Years
  • Maximum Age: 25 Years
  • Age Relaxation is applicable as per rules:
    • SC/ST: 5 years
    • OBC: 3 years
    • PwD (GEN/EWS): 10 years
    • Ex-Servicemen: Extent of service + 3 years (Max 50 years)
    • RBI Experienced Candidates: Up to 3 years for past service
    • Widows/Divorced Women: Up to 35 years (40 for SC/ST)

 

Salary and Benefits

The selected candidates will be placed in the pay scale of ₹24,250 – ₹53,550. The initial monthly gross emoluments (without HRA) will be approximately ₹46,029. Additionally, a House Rent Allowance (HRA) of 15% of pay is provided if not staying in the Bank's accommodation. Other allowances as per RBI rules are also admissible.

 

Selection Process: Two Crucial Stages

The selection for the Office Attendant post will be based on a two-stage process:

1. Online Written Test:

  • Mode: Bilingual (English & Hindi, except English section)
  • Type: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
  • Duration: 90 Minutes
  • Negative Marking: Yes, 1/4th mark deducted for each wrong answer.
