Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

Post-Graduate in the subject with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
B.Ed. degree is required.
Preference will be given to retired teachers and candidates with prior teaching experience.

Other Requirements:

Candidate must be an Indian citizen.
Must be proficient in Odia, having passed either HSC with Odia as a principal subject or Odia Test Examination to M.E. School standard.

Age Limit:

Maximum age at the time of engagement: 62 years (as of 1st October 2024).
Retired teachers will be disengaged at 65 years.

Salary

Role	Honorarium
Guest Teacher (PGT)	₹16,000/month

Selection Process

The selection process includes the following components:

Career Weightage:

1st Division - 50 marks
2nd Division (with at least 50% marks) - 30 marks

Teaching Experience:

1 year - 10 marks
2 years - 20 marks
3 years or more - 30 marks

Interview: 20 marks

Total Marks: 100

Tie-Breaking Criteria:

If two or more candidates secure the same marks, candidates with higher B.Ed. scores will be preferred.
