notification for the recruitment of Agniveer (MR & Musician) -
02/2026 (Jul 26) Batch. Eligible candidates who have passed 10th
(Matriculation) with 50% marks and possess musical
proficiency can apply online. The online application process has
started on 11th April 2026 and will close on 26th
April 2026.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Must
have passed Matriculation Examination (10th) with minimum
50% marks in aggregate.
- The
board must be recognised by the Ministry of Education, Govt. of
India.

Male and Unmarried Female candidates are
eligible.
- Candidates

is not permitted during the entire 4-year tenure. Marriage will
result in dismissal.
Musical Ability & Instrument Proficiency (For
Musician Post)
Musical Ability Required
Candidates should have proficiency and aptitude for music
with:
- Accuracy
in tempo and pitch
- Ability
to sing one complete song
- Practical
skill on any instrument (Indian or foreign origin)
- Proficiency
in tuning, matching unknown notes, prepared piece, sight reading of
notation
- Knowledge
of Scale/Raaga/Taala and basic theory of Indian or International music
Eligible Instruments
Candidates must perform with expertise on one or
more instruments such as:
- Keyboard
- String
instruments
- Wind
instruments
- Any
other instrument of Indian or foreign origin
❌ Ineligible Instruments
Candidates performing on the following will NOT be
eligible:
- Indefinite
pitch instruments (Jazz Drum set, Bass Drum, Snare Drums, Side Drums,
Cymbals)
- Non-chromatic
instruments (Bugle)
- Monotone
instruments (producing only one note or drone)

Salary, Allowances & Agniveer Seva Nidhi Package
Agniveers will be paid a monthly package with
a fixed yearly increment, plus Risk & Hardship, Dress, and Travel
allowances.
