Educational Qualification:

  • Junior Overman (Trainee):
    • Diploma in Mining or Mining Engineering or equivalent qualification approved by the Central Government.
    • Valid Overman’s Certificate of Competency from DGMS as per the Coal Mines Regulation 2017.
    • Valid First Aid Certificate.
  • Mining Sirdar (Selection Grade – I):
    • Diploma or Degree in any discipline other than Mining Engineering.
    • Mining Sirdar Certificate of Competency issued by DGMS.
    • Valid First Aid Certificate.
    • Alternatively, a Diploma in Mining with Overman Competency Certificate issued by DGMS.

Age Limit:

  • For Junior Overman & Mining Sirdar Posts:
    • UR / EWS Candidates: Maximum 30 years.
    • OBC Candidates: Maximum 33 years.
    • SC / ST Candidates: Maximum 35 years.
    • Age Relaxation: Applicable as per government rules.
