Qualification
To be eligible for the Senior Research Fellow (SRF) post, candidates must hold a Master’s Degree (M.Sc.) in Biotechnology, Agricultural Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or Botany. The candidate should have completed a 4-year or 5-year undergraduate degree program prior to the Master’s.
Alternatively, candidates with a 3-year Bachelor's degree must have also qualified the National Eligibility Test (NET) and possess at least 2 years of relevant research experience in the subject area. Preference will be given to candidates with practical experience in molecular biology techniques, genetic analysis, or plant biotechnology.

- Maximum Age for Male Candidates: 35 years
- Maximum Age for Female Candidates: 40 years
- Age Relaxation: Applicable as per ICAR / Government of India rules.
