Educational Qualification

Candidates must meet the following post-specific educational criteria:

  1. For Senior Research Fellow (SRF):
    • M.Tech / M.E. or a Postgraduate degree in Soil & Water Conservation Engineering, Irrigation & Drainage Engineering, Remote Sensing, GIS, or Geospatial Technology.
    • Must hold a B.E./B.Tech qualification in a relevant discipline.
  2. For Young Professional-II (YP-II):
    • M.Tech / M.E. or a Postgraduate degree in Soil & Water Conservation Engineering, Irrigation & Drainage Engineering, Remote Sensing, GIS, Geospatial Technology, Computer Science & Engineering, or Information Technology.

 

Age Limit & Relaxation (as on the date of interview)

Age limits are post-specific. Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per ICAR and Government of India rules.

  • Senior Research Fellow (SRF):
    • Maximum Age: 35 years for Men, 40 years for Women.
  • Young Professional-II (YP-II):
    • Minimum Age: 21 years
    • Maximum Age: 45 years

Since there is no online application, follow these steps carefully:

  1. Download Application Form: Visit the official ICAR-IIWM website at https://www.iiwm.res.in/ and navigate to the recruitment/career section to download the prescribed application form (if provided) or the official notification.
  2. Prepare Application: Fill out the application form or a detailed bio-data with all relevant personal, educational, and experience details.
  3. Gather Documents: Organize the following documents for the interview:
    • Original Documents: All original educational certificates (from 10th onwards), mark sheets, degree/provisional certificates, proof of date of birth, caste certificate (if applicable), experience certificates, and any NET/GATE scorecard.
