Eligibility Criteria: A Dual Mandate
Candidates must meet BOTH educational and sports achievement criteria.
1. Educational Qualification:
- For Level-2/Level-3 (GP ₹1900/2000): 12th (+2) pass or equivalent.
- For Level-1 (GP ₹1800): 10th pass or ITI or equivalent.
- *Note: ITI holders with 10th pass can also apply for Level-2 posts.*
2. Sports Achievement (Norms Achieved on or after
01/04/2023):
- For Level-2/Level-3: Must have represented the country in Category-B events (e.g., Asian Games, Commonwealth Games, World Cup) OR secured at least 3rd position in events like Senior National Championships, National Games, or Federation Cup.
- For Level-1: Must have represented the country in Category-C events OR secured at least 3rd position in Federation Cup OR represented a state with at least 8th position in Senior Nationals.
Age Limit & Relaxation (as on 01/07/2026)
- Age Limit: 18 to 25 years.
- Important: No age relaxation is permitted for any category (SC/ST/OBC included).

Step-by-Step Guide to Apply (Offline Mode)
- Download Form: Get the application form from the official ECoR website: https://www.rrcbbs.org.in/.
- Fill Application: Use blue/black ballpoint pen to fill the form in English/Hindi only. Affix a recent passport-size photograph and provide two clear Left Thumb Impressions (LTI).
- Prepare Fee: Obtain a Demand Draft (DD) or Indian Postal Order (IPO) for the applicable fee, drawn in favour of "Principal Financial Adviser, East Coast Railway, payable at Bhubaneswar".
- Attach Documents: Enclose self-attested copies of:
