Key Features and Benefits
The LIC Bima Sakhi Yojana 2026 focuses on women empowerment by providing structured financial support and career growth opportunities.

Stipend Structure
• 1st Year: ₹7,000 per month
• 2nd Year: ₹6,000 per month (subject to 65% policy retention)

After completing the 3-year training period, Bima Sakhis can continue as regular LIC agents and earn commission as per LIC norms.
Graduate Bima Sakhis with good performance may also become eligible for Apprentice Development Officer (ADO) positions after 5 years.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Only women candidates can apply for this scheme.
Applicants must have passed at least Class 10th from a recognized board.
The candidate must qualify the Pre-Recruitment Test conducted as per IRDAI guidelines.

Salary and Income Structure
Selected Bima Sakhis receive a fixed monthly stipend during the first three years.
In addition to the stipend, they earn commissions on insurance policies sold.
After the 3-year period, income depends completely on commission earnings and performance incentives.
This makes it a long-term self-employment opportunity under LIC.
Selection Process
The selection process is conducted in multiple stages.
Stage 1: Pre-Recruitment Test (as per IRDAI guidelines)
Stage 2: Document Verification at the concerned LIC branch
Stage 3: Personal Interview conducted by the Branch In-charge
Stage 4: Allotment of Agency Code after final approval
