The wait is over! Bank of Baroda (BOB) has officially released the much-anticipated Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Notification for 5,000 vacancies across India. This is a golden opportunity for graduates seeking a one-year paid apprenticeship under the Apprentices Act, 1961.

The BOB Apprentice Recruitment 2026 online application process begins on 19th May 2026 and the last date to apply is 8th June 2026. Candidates with a graduation degree in any discipline are eligible to apply online through the official website: bankofbaroda.bank.in.

Bank of Baroda has allocated apprenticeships across all States/UTs. Here are the top 5 states with highest vacancies:

  • Gujarat: 960 seats
  • Uttar Pradesh: 764 seats
  • Maharashtra: 580 seats
  • Karnataka: 483 seats
  • Rajasthan: 412 seats

Even smaller UTs like Andaman & Nicobar, Ladakh, Sikkim have 1-2 seats each. Candidates can apply for only one State/UT and select up to 3 preferred training locations within that State.

📌 PwD (Persons with Benchmark Disabilities) candidates from VI, HI, OC, ID, and multiple disability categories are eligible for horizontal reservation.

Educational Qualification

  • Must be a Graduate (any discipline) from a recognized university.
  • For NATS-registered candidates: The graduation passing year should not be more than 4 years prior to 1st May 2026.

Prior Experience Restriction

  • Candidates with 1 year or more job/training experience after graduation are NOT eligible.
  • Those who have already completed apprenticeship with BOB or any other establishment are not eligible.

  • Duration: 60 minutes
  • Medium: Hindi/English (except General English)
  • Exam Mode: Remotely proctored (take from home using a smartphone/laptop with camera and internet)
  • Qualifying Marks: SC/ST/OBC/PwD get 5% relaxation in aggregate.

Stage 2: Document Verification

Shortlisted candidates will be called to a designated centre in the State/UT applied for. Travel at own expense.

Stage 3: Local Language Test

You must be proficient in the local language of the State/UT you applied for.
 Exemption: If your 10th or 12th mark sheet shows you studied that language, you don’t need to take the test.

🖥️ How to Apply Online for BOB Apprentice 2026 – Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Register on NAPS (apprenticeshipindia.gov.in) and/or NATS (nats.education.gov.in). Keep your Registration ID handy.

Step 2: After registration, you will receive an email from info@bfsissc.com inviting you to fill the final "Application cum Examination Form".

Step 3: Click the link in the email, fill in your personal, educational, and portal registration details.

Step 4: Upload the required documents (Aadhaar, PAN, photo, signature, marksheets, bank passbook).

Step 5: Pay the application fee online via debit/credit card, net banking, or UPI.

Step 6: Submit the form and download a copy for future reference.

️ Your application is considered complete only after fee payment.

️ Important Instructions for Candidates

  • This is not a regular job. Apprentices are trainees, not employees of Bank of Baroda.
  • No right to claim employment after training completion.
  • Apply for only one State/UT. Change of state will not be allowed.
  • No Ex-servicemen reservation for this apprenticeship.
  • OBC candidates in the Creamy Layer must apply under General category.
  • Stipend of ₹15,000/month is paid only upon monthly completion. No hostel, transport, or other allowances.
