OPSC Civil Judge Recruitment 2026 Notification Out – Apply Online for 78 Posts

 











Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has released the official notification for the recruitment of Civil Judge (Junior Division) in the Odisha Judicial Service, 2025. A total of 78 vacancies have been announced. Eligible candidates with an LLB degree and minimum 3 years of practice as an Advocate can apply online through the OPSC website from 8th May 2026 to 8th June 2026.

Selection Process

The selection process consists of 3 successive stages:

  2. Click on the "OPSC Civil Judge Recruitment 2026" application link (available from 8th May 2026).
  3. Read the official notification carefully before applying.
  4. Register on the OPSC e-Chayan portal (if not already registered).
  5. Fill the online application form with all required details.
  6. Upload scanned images of:
    • Latest passport size photograph
    • Full signature
    • Left-hand Thumb Impression (LTI)
  7. Pay the application fee (if applicable) online.
  8. Review all details carefully before final submission.
  9. Submit the application.
  10. On successful submission, a unique Permanent Public Service Account Number (PPSAN) will be assigned.
  11. Download and take a printout of the finally submitted application form.
  12. Sign the declaration on the printout.
  13. Keep the printout safely for submission to OPSC along with documents when asked.

Important: If a candidate wants to modify any information after submission, they must cancel the application and re-apply within the last date (8th June 2026). No rectification requests will be entertained after submission.

Important Instructions for Candidates

  • Only candidates possessing requisite qualifications and fulfilling all eligibility conditions by the closing date will be considered eligible.
  • No hard copy/offline applications will be accepted – online submission only.
  • Applications without payment of examination fees (except SC/ST/PwD) will be outrightly rejected.
  • SC/ST/SEBC reservation is admissible only to SC/ST/SEBC of Odisha by birth.
  • OBC certificates will not be accepted in lieu of SEBC certificates.
  • Community (caste status) once mentioned in the application form cannot be changed subsequently.
  • PwD candidates must upload Permanent Disability Certificate only (temporary disability certificates not accepted).
  • Government servants must obtain NOC from their Head of Office well in advance.
  • Women candidates must submit caste certificates by birth ("daughter of…"); certificates by virtue of marriage ("wife of…") are not acceptable.
  • Candidates submitting forged/manipulated documents will be debarred from OPSC examinations for 3 years.
  • Mobile phones and electronic gadgets are banned inside examination premises.
