📌 Vacancy Distribution (State/UT-wise)

The 5,000 training seats are distributed across 35 States and Union Territories. Gujarat has the highest number of vacancies (960), followed by Uttar Pradesh (764) and Maharashtra (580). Candidates can apply for only one State/UT but can select up to 3 preferred training locations within that state.

✅ Eligibility Criteria (as of 01-05-2026)

Educational Qualification:

  • Must be a Graduate (Graduation Degree in any discipline) from a recognized university.
  • For NATS candidates, the graduation passing year should not be more than 4 years before 01-05-2026.

Age Limit:

  • Minimum: 20 years | Maximum: 28 years.
  • Relaxations: SC/ST (5 years), OBC (3 years), PwBD (10-15 years depending on category).

Other Conditions:

  • Must be an Indian Citizen.
  • Must be registered on the NATS (nats.education.gov.in) and/or NAPS (apprenticeshipindia.gov.in) portal before applying.
  • Candidates who have already completed an apprenticeship elsewhere or have 1+ year of work experience after graduation are not eligible.

 

💰 Application Fee (Non-Refundable)

  • SC/ST/PwD Candidates: ₹200 + GST
  • General/EWS/OBC (Male): ₹800 + GST
  • General/EWS/OBC (Female/Transgender): ₹600 + GST

📝 Selection Process (3 Stages)

Stage 1: Online Examination

  • Total Questions: 100 (25 each on General/Financial Awareness, Quantitative & Reasoning Aptitude, Computer Knowledge, and General English)
  • Duration: 60 minutes
  • Negative Marking: No
  • Language: Hindi/English (except General English)
  • Qualifying Marks: 5% relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwD.

Stage 2: Document Verification
Candidates who qualify in the online exam will be called for document verification at a designated center in the state they applied for (at their own expense).

Stage 3: Local Language Test
Candidates must be proficient in the local language of the state/UT they applied for. Those who have studied the local language in 10th or 12th standard are exempt from this test.

 

📄 How to Apply for BOB Apprentice 2026 (Step-by-Step)

  1. Register on Government Portals: First, mandatorily register on NATS (nats.education.gov.in) and/or NAPS (apprenticeshipindia.gov.in).
  2. Wait for Invitation: After registration, eligible candidates will receive an email from info@bfsissc.com with a link to fill the final application cum examination form.
  3. Fill Form & Pay Fee: Complete the application form and pay the applicable fee online.
  4. Submit & Save: Submit the form and save a printout for future reference.

Documents Required: Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Photograph, Signature, 10th/12th/Degree Marksheets, Bank Passbook.

 

⚠️ Important Instructions for Candidates

  • This is NOT a permanent job. Apprentices are trainees, not bank employees, and have no right to claim regular employment after training.
  • Candidates can apply for only one State/UT.
  • No travelling or hostel allowances will be provided for the training or document verification process.
  • The stipend of ₹15,000 is paid monthly (no other benefits like DA, HRA, etc.).
  • All correspondence will be via email only. Keep your registered email ID active.
  • Any dispute arising from this recruitment will have legal jurisdiction only in Mumbai.
